The www.ad-win.co.uk website (the “Website”) allows individuals to enter prize-draws hosted on the Website (each a “Prize Draw”). A portion of the funds raised through each Prize Draw will be used to support featured non-profit(s) and/or charitable causes (each a “Charity”).
3.1 The title of competition is the AD Win Competition (“AD Win Competition”).
3.2 The AD Win Competition will involve the entrant using their knowledge and expertise of the angling industry to answer a specific question posed on the website of the Promoter.
3.3 These terms and conditions apply to all competitions listed on the Promoter’s website at https://www.ad-win.co.uk (the “Website”)
3.4 These terms and conditions form a binding contract between Promoter and each Prize Draw participant (a “Participant”). Entry into any Prize Draw constitutes Participant’s agreement to the Official Rules and Promoter’s decisions, which are final and binding in all matters relating to the Website and all Prize Draws. If you do not agree to these Official do not enter the Prize Draw(s).
3.5 All competitions are skill-based competitions. Entry fees for online entries are payable each time you enter. Where the Promoter offers a multiple choice question, a free entry route is available.
3.6 To be in with a chance of winning, everyone who enters the competition (an “Entrant”) will be required to correctly answer a question or solve a problem set by the Promoter (the “Competition Question”).
4.1 The competition will run from and including the opening and closing dates specified on the Website. These dates shall be referred to as the “Opening Date” and “Closing Date” respectively. All times and dates referred to are the times and dates in London, England.
4.2 If it is absolutely necessary to do so, the Promoter reserves the right to change the Opening and Closing Dates. If the Promoter does change the Opening Date and/or the Closing Date of a competition, the new details will be displayed on the Website. The Promoter will not extend the Closing Date simply to sell more entries.
4.3 All AD Win Competition entries must be received by the Promoter the Closing Date. Any AD Win Competition entries received after the Closing Date are automatically disqualified without refund.
4.4 To enter the AD Win Competition
(a) send a completed entry form, which details are outlined in point 4.13 by first or second class post to Angling Direct plc, 2d Wendover Road Rackheath Industrial Estate, Rackheath, Norwich, Norfolk, NR13 6LH by the Closing Date; or
(b) enter the AD Win Competition online by [creating an online account and] submitting the online entry form provided on [insert AD competition website URL] by Closing Date.
4.5 The cost to enter the AD Win Competition is specified on each competition [There is no charge to register for use of the website].
4.6 The Promoter will not accept:
(a) responsibility for AD Win Competition entries that are corrupted, not successfully completed or transmitted, lost, mislaid, damaged or delayed in transit, regardless of cause, including, for example, as a result of any postal failure, equipment failure, technical malfunction, systems, satellite, network, server, website, computer hardware or software failure of any kind; or
(b) proof of posting or transmission as proof of receipt of entry to the AD Win Competition.
4.7 By submitting an AD Win Competition entry, you are confirming that you have read and understood, and are agreeing to be legally bound by, these terms and conditions.

4.10 The maximum number of entries to the competition will be stated on the Website. The number of entries you are able to make may be limited if the maximum number of entries is reached.
4.11 Entrants can enter each competition as many times as they wish until the maximum number of entries per user have been submitted and until the maximum number of entries for the competition have been received. Entrants submitting free entries must submit each entry separately. Bulk entries, if received, will not be accepted and will only be counted as one single entry. Entries may be limited if the maximum number of entries for the competition is reached.
4.12 To enter the competition online:
(a) go to the Website and view the Competition Question;
(b) select your answer to the competition question and required number of entries; then
(c) complete the checkout process and submit the online registration form; then
(d) complete the payment to receive your order confirmation.
(e) you may repeat this process as many times as you wish up to the maximum number of tickets allowed per Entrant, or until the total quantity of tickets have been allocated.
4.13 You may enter the competition for free by post by complying with the following conditions:
(a) send your handwritten entry on an unenclosed postcard by first or second class post to the Promoter at the following address: AD Win, Unit 2D Wendover Road, Rackheath Industrial Estate, Rackheath, NR136LH;
(b) hand delivered entries will not be accepted and will not be entered into the random draw;
(c) include with your entry the following information:
(i) your full name;
(ii) your address;
(iii) a contact telephone number and email address; and
(iv) the Competition you are entering and your answer to the Competition Question.
(d) incomplete or illegible entries will be disqualified;
(e) Postal entries are limited to one entry per person, per postcard for each competition. Bulk entries in one envelope will not be accepted as multiple entries and if a bulk entry is received, it will be counted as one single entry;
(f)The number of tickets assigned for the desired competition via the free postal entry route will be to the next value of a 2nd class UK Post Office stamp as of January 2025. .
(g) by entering the competition, you are confirming that you are eligible to enter and accept these terms and conditions;
(h) your entry must be received by the Promoter prior to the Closing Date. Entries received after the Closing Date will not be entered into the random draw. Proof of posting does not guarantee you will be entered into the random draw;
(i) the Promoter will not acknowledge receipt of your entry nor confirm if your answer to the Competition Question is correct;
(j) if the number of entries reaches any cap or limit before your free entry is received, you will not be entered into the random draw.
(k) Entrants must have created an account on the Website for the free entry to be processed. All details MUST correspond to the details on the account. Postal entries received without a registered account cannot be processed.
5.1 The AD Win Competition is only open to all residents in the UK [aged 18 years or over], except:
(a) employees of the Promoter or its subsidiary companies;
(b) employees of agents or suppliers of the Promoter or its subsidiary companies, who are professionally connected with the AD Win Competition or its administration; or
(c) members of the immediate families or households of (a) and (b) above.
5.2 By entering the AD Win Competition, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim [the prize OR any prize you may win ]. The Promoter may require you to provide proof that you are eligible to enter the AD Win Competition.
5.3 The Promoter will not accept AD Win Competition entries that are:
(a) automatically generated by computer or created by artificial intelligence (including but not limited to chatbots such as ChatGPT or similar software applications);
(b) completed by third parties or in bulk;
(c) illegible, have been altered, reconstructed, forged or tampered with;
(d) photocopies and not originals; or
(e) incomplete.
5.4 There is a limit of ticket entries for each competition that will be specified in each competition. Entries on behalf of another person will not be accepted and joint submissions are not allowed.
5.5 The Promoter reserves all rights (at its discretion) to disqualify you if your conduct is contrary to the spirit or intention of the AD Win Competition.
5.6 AD Win Competition entries cannot be returned.
6.1 The prize for each competition is described on the Website (the “Prize”). Details of the Prize are, to the best of the Promoter’s knowledge, information and belief, correct as at the Opening Date.
6.2 Prizes are subject to availability. [The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize with a cash alternative that is outlined in the competition at the entry stage or The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize with a prize of equal or greater RRP value.]
6.3 The Promoter makes no representations and gives no warranties about the Prize, its value, its condition or any other information provided on the Website. 6.4 The prize is not negotiable or transferable.
7.1 All Entrants who correctly answer the Competition Question will be placed into a draw and the winner will be chosen by random draw. The random draw will take place as soon as reasonably possible and, in any event, within 7 days of the Closing Date (“Draw Date”).
7.2 All Entrants will have their names and entry numbers included in a spreadsheet which may be published on the Website and may be visible during the live draw. If you do not wish to have your name included in this spreadsheet you must contact the Promoter via email at sales@ad-win.co.uk as soon as possible after you have completed your entry and in any event, at least 48 hours before the live draw takes place.
8.1 The decision of the Promoter is final, and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into.
8.2 The Winner’s full name will be announced during the live draw. If you wish for your name to be censored during the live draw please contact sales@ad-win.co.uk with reasonable time left before the prize draw takes place
8.3 The Promoter will contact the winner personally as soon as practicable after the Announcement Date, using the telephone number or email address provided with the AD Win Competition entry. The Promoter will not amend any contact information once the AD Win Competition entry form has been submitted.
8.4 The Promoter must either publish or make available information that indicates that a valid award took place. To comply with this obligation the Promoter will send the surname and county of major prize winners and, if applicable copies of their winning entries, to anyone who emails sales@ad-win.co.uk or writes to the address set out in paragraph 1 (enclosing a self-addressed envelope) within one month after the Closing Date of the AD Win Competition.
8.5 If you object to any or all of your full name, county and winning entry being published or made available, please contact the Promoter at sales@ad-win.co.uk. In such circumstances, the Promoter must still provide the information and winning entry to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.
9.1 Please allow 7 working days for delivery of the prize or If you are the winner of the prize, you will have 14 days from the Announcement Date to claim the prize by personally attending the offices of the Promoter. If you do not claim the prize by this date, your claim will become invalid.
9.2 The prize may not be claimed by a third party on your behalf.
9.3 The Promoter will make all reasonable efforts to contact the winner. If the winner cannot be contacted or is not available, or has not claimed their prize within 14 of days of the Announcement Date, the Promoter reserves the right to [offer the prize to the next eligible entrant selected from the correct entries that were received before the Closing Date.]
9.4 The Promoter does not accept any responsibility if you are not able to take up the prize.
9.5 Any Cash Prize will be transferred directly to the winners nominated bank account. The winner must provide evidence that it is the sole or joint beneficiary of the bank account. Failure to do so within 14 days will result in disqualification from the competition and the winner forfeiting the prize. In such circumstances, the Promoter reserves the right to offer the prize to the next eligible Entrant selected from the correct entries that were received before the Closing Date.
10.1 Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.
10.2 The Participant releases the Prize Draw Partners, and any advertising platform used in connection with the promotion of any Prize Draw, including, without limitation, the Facebook platform owned and operated by Meta Platforms, Inc., Google LLC, Instagram, Inc., Pinterest, Inc., Reddit, Inc., Snap Inc., Twitter, Inc., and any of their respective parents, subsidiaries and affiliates (collectively “Advertising Platforms”) from all liability, loss or damage or expense arising out of or in connection with participation in any Prize Draw or the acceptance, use, or misuse of any Prizes.
11.1 All AD Win Competition entries and any accompanying material submitted to the Promoter will become the property of the Promoter on receipt and will not be returned.
11.2 By submitting your AD Win Competition entry and any accompanying material, you agree to:
(a) assign absolutely to the Promoter all your intellectual property rights held in the AD Win Competition entry with full title guarantee; and
(b) waive absolutely all moral rights,
in and to your AD Win Competition entry and otherwise arising in connection with your entry to which you may now or at any time in the future be entitled under the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988 as amended from time to time and under all similar legislation from time to time in force anywhere in the world.
12.1 The Promoter will only process your personal information as set out in the paragraph 7.2 . See also paragraph 8, with regard to the announcement of winners.
13.1 If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these terms and conditions, the Promoter may, at its sole discretion, reserve the right to exclude you from participating in the AD Win Competition.
13.2 The Promoter reserves the right to hold void, suspend, cancel, or amend the AD Win Competition where it becomes necessary to do so.
13.3 These terms and conditions are governed by English law. If any entrants to this promotion wish to take court proceedings, then they must do this within the courts in the United Kingdom.
