When is the draw for a competition?
The competition draw date and time is stated on the entry page for each competition. Each draw is guaranteed to take place at the specified time regardless of how many tickets are sold.
Your order will show as cancelled if you did not complete the payment, or if your payment failed. Orders are automatically cancelled after 10 minutes if we do not receive a successful payment.

Traditional draws: Every one of our traditional draws can be watched live via our Facebook page for everyone to see. We use a random number generator to determine the winner. We prove we are live by reading out comments and answering customer queries as we go. If a traditional draw does not sell out and the first number generated is unsold, we will generate a new number until we have a winner.

 

Instant wins: Instant win competitions are won by receiving a ticket number that matches a number on the list of pre-determined prizes. If your ticket numbers match any of the numbers on the list of prizes, you will instantly win that prize! End prizes are classed as traditional draws.

 

Automated draws: Our automated draws are similar to traditional draws, but without a live draw. We use PHP code to randomly generate a winning number at the time of the draw. The winner will be contacted and announced on our ‘Draw Results’ page.

There are 3 ways in which you can find your ticket number for a draw.

  1. When you enter a competition your ticket numbers can be found on the confirmation page.
  2. On the confirmation email sent to the email address assigned to your account.
  3. Log into your account, go to ‘Dashboard’, select ‘Orders’ and click on ‘View’ to the ticket numbers allocated to your order.

If a traditional or automated draw that you have entered does not sell out, the draw will still take place and you will have a better chance of winning than if it had sold out. Each draw is guaranteed to take place on the date and time shown on the entry page. All sold tickets are still valid and we will generate a random number until we have a winner. If there are instant win prizes which have not been won within the time limit of the competition, they will be forfeited, however each ticket purchased into the competition will still be included in the end prize draw, if applicable. 

AD Win is a division of Angling Direct PLC, the largest fishing tackle retailer in the UK with over 30 years’ experience in the fishing tackle industry. We ensure that we run prize draws which are fully compliant with the Playing Act of 2005, and do all our live draws on Facebook for everyone to watch, and store all the old draws on our Facebook page for those who may have missed the live draw. Our competitions have also been authorised by Google & Facebook to promote on their respective platforms.

We may send out SMS, emails and app notifications to all customers who register with us as part of our core service. If you need to unsubscribe, you can do so by clicking on the Opt Out link within SMS, deleting the app and unsubscribing from email. Instant win competitions have predetermined prizes with numbers allocated to them at the time the competition launches. If you buy a ticket into a competition with instant wins and one or more of your ticket numbers match the list of predetermined numbers, you will win the prize(s) allocated to it. Some instant win competitions have an ‘end prize’ where every entry purchased into the instant win competition will be entered to win the end prize, drawn as a traditional or automated draw at the end of the competition.

We never send spam, we only send communications to those who are registered to our service. If you are receiving spam messages please contact us and we can verify what you have received and whether it is from us. 

  • To stop Email notifications: Use the Unsubscribe on the bottom of the emails you receive.
  • To stop receiving both email and SMS you can also email us at: info@ad-win.co.uk
  • To stop receiving app notifications: You can do this on your device settings or by removing the app. This is not something we can control from our end.

We are based in Norwich, Norfolk, but don’t worry, our location doesn’t limit any entries, we can deliver prizes to winners across the United Kingdom (England, Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland).

Yes. Once you have purchased a ticket you will receive a confirmation email that includes your ticket numbers. If you have not received this, don’t forget to check your junk folders.

You will receive a confirmation email with your purchase details and ticket numbers. You can also log into your account and check your active and past tickets numbers. 

Can I play outside of UK and Ireland?

We would not recommend entering our competitions if you live outside of the UK and Ireland as competitions laws can vary in other nations.

This can change for each competition. Please check the competition description for each individual competition to see the maximum number of tickets per customer.

We accept Visa, MasterCard, Apple Pay and Google Pay.

Yes you can. Please refer to our T&Cs, for full details of how to enter our prize draws via a free entry.

The odds of winning for each respective competition will depend on the number of entries received.

Monday to Friday between 8am to 5pm only, we advise its best to keep messages on email or Facebook/Instagram.

We pack and ship Monday – Friday and depending on the size and value of the prize, we will dispatch your item with either DX or Royal Mail. Both DX and Royal Mail will notify you of your parcel/s arriving date/time via the email and telephone number you used in the time of checkout.

 

We do not ship out any parcels, over the weekends OR bank holidays.

We only operate our live draw on Sunday at the weekend with all other services at AD Win not operating. We schedule our posts over the weekends only, all messages in messenger will be answered the following Monday.

We either leave them to be drawn on their original draw date, OR pull them forward into their closest draw day.

Our draws are only available to people aged 18 and over. Please confirm your age to continue.
